The New Orleans Daiquiri Festival has been postponed until next Saturday (Aug. 24).
The event was supposed to be held today from noon to 9 p.m. but the organizers posted on their Facebook page that a permitting snafu delayed the event.

Unfortunately, we ran into a permitting issue in our transition, this year, from a non-profit event to a general public event. After talking with city hall, our lawyers, and the ATC, we are unable to hold the 3rd Annual New Orleans Daiquiri Festival tomorrow (Saturday), August 17th.
BUT WAIT…
The Daiquiri Festival is RESCHEDULED for next Saturday, AUGUST 24th. It will still be at 527 Elysian Fields (map) from 12:00-9:00. Those who bought online tickets, and can still attend, will be issued a free drink ticket for the inconvenience. If you’re unable to attend and have already purchased tickets, please contact info@ohnoco.org.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door.
